Need Tagline For "mule Days" Festival

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
This is a tagline...soliciting attendance..and sure I want to use the word ass...but supposedly its not "appropriate". This is the biggest event in a small town in the midwest.

True...but we are in the Midwest afterall. Plus there are multiple sponsors to consider. Highly conversative Christian community. However, I still think that incorporating it tastefully could bring a smile to almost everyones face. Have any examples? Everthing I come up with is vulgar HA.

Don't mule it over, just come!

The donkey's not gonna invite you.

    What are the "Mule Days"?
Who are you trying to attract?
What makes the event a "must see/must be at?"
Is this a relatively recent event or is it steeped in history?

The more you can share, the better we may be able to help you.

How about...for an implied "ass" reference:

Get It In Gear.... and Come to Mule Days!

    or, otherwise:

    Stubbornly Fun!

    or maybe just:

    M'you'll Love It!

Are you the Mule Day in Columbia, TN -- March 31 to April 3, 2011? https://muleday.org/

I really think the photo of the beauty queens with the mule is very funny. It joins two different aspects of the celebration in an amusing way.

ICould you use that photo somewhere in your advertising -- even on your billboard? It's just a great juxtaposition of two aspects of the celebration-- the beautiful women and the star of the show, the mule. It's the 5th item down on this page:

I like many of the suggestions members have given, and I can't top any of them. My only idea is to try a headline where you include "ass" as a typo:

"We're assking everyone to join us at Mule Day!"

    OR

"It would really be assinine to miss Mule Day."

    OR

"No need to wear an asscot; it ain't the Kentucky Derby!"

Hope this helps! Sounds like an event that's historically relevant and lots of fun!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback! It has certainly helped me move in the right direction. This event is held in Ozark, MO and we are hoping to attract more local attendees. Thanks again for your time and energy.
