I am looking for a new name for my makeup business. The name I was using is starting to pop up eveywhere (Flutter & Pout). I am a makeup artist, I use and airbrush. I mainly focus on eyes and lips. My name is Alesha

    My ideal client is the everyday person who want to feel and look great. Showing them how they can achieve the red carpet look and appreciate their flaws is what makes me feel great. Showing someone tips and tricks to feel fabulous. Side note I love purple and everything that sparkles, glitters or gleam!

    as a side note, write a book explaining just how you do everything you do and something surprising happens. People read it and realize just how difficult it really is to do. That is when they turn to you.

    In your context, teaching your clients the tricks is brilliant. It means you are establishing the kind of trust that gets shared with their friends. Sure, you eventually do yourself out of a client, by the time they go you will have gotten three recommendations from them.

    Now showing them how to appreciate their flaws ... perhaps you should change careers and become a marketer?

    "Purple Rain" comes to mind - "Purple Showers"?

    Purple flutters Purple Pout Spangles, Sparkles and Stars (the red carpet idea).

    Thanks for the vote (writing a book) but I'm much better with colors and brushes than words! I'm the idea of purple flutter purple pout but a little long. You are good!

    I meant it as an either - or sort of idea.

    Are you writing a book? Your skills seem more interactive (personal, one-to-one). Whatever, listen hard and you won't be worrying too much about clients. I doubt any of this is news.
