We are organizing a 150 persons annual sales conference for a multinational company based in India. Until last year the company was growing at 25% annually - this year their growth has not been unto the scorching benchmark they had set for themselves – growing @ 9% per annum. But the last quarter growth has been good – therefore the corporate has taken on board quite a few new team members that have been added - these new members have not been a part of this scorching growth (Golden days)
The underlying sentiment in the clients team is as follows:
Macro Economic scenario: With the change in Government - the new Govt is making things happen - look at Amazon and the Japanese to name a few (investing in the Indian market) - there are deals which are happening almost every day, big ticket deals which are good for the Indian economy. There is a paradigm shift in the macro economic scenario
The client is into the business of foods.
Their team feels that with this immense change in macro economic scenario they have to take ‘risks’ and make it happen - ramp up the growth beyond 9% and take a leap.
