Need Catchy Title/tag Line For Upcoming Seminar!

Posted by abby on 125 Points
We will be holding a seminar to better explain the Homes for Heroes program:

This program serves all military, fire fighters, teachers, police, medical professionals and all support staff. Whether buying, selling or refinancing, this program allows you to save HUGE amounts of money!

I'm making a flyer, and can't come up with something catchy to save my life. All suggestions welcome!

    TITLE: Homes for Heroes Explained.

The title does NOT need to be catchy.

    "Catchy" is a myth.

It needs to be relevant and informative.

Is the program "Homes for Heroes" known by your target audience? If not, the title needs to clarify who you're trying to attract (and why). If so, then using something simple, like "Homes for Heroes Seminar" will likely suffice.

Do you want a catchy title/tagline because you are afraid the topic of the seminar will be too boring for your target audience? What do you want the title/tagline to communicate? To whom? Where?

I agree with Gary regarding "catchy." Don't try to be too clever. Just tell your target audience what's in it for them to attend the seminar. If they are really interested, that will be "catchy" enough. And if they are not interested it's unlikely a "catchy" title/tagline would persuade them to attend.

Besides, "catchy" is very subjective. Who is going to judge "catchiness?" What makes something "catchy?"
