Customer-centricity

i need an example of a product or service which do not seem to be customer-centric in their conception. for instance, in terms of product design or function, priority seems to be given to satisfying internal company needs rather than customer needs.

    Where have you already looked for examples?

    What examples have you encountered in daily life?

    What experiences do you know of that other people have shared with you?

    Look at any government service department. Generally they are focused on internal efficiencies rather than customer satisfaction.

    Oil industry might be another example, customers have little impact on production, operations and even pricing to an extent.
