What Is The Optimal Legnth For A White Paper?

We plan to deploy a white paper B2B marketing strategy in the near future. How long of a paper should we be aiming for? What should be the ratio of text to visuals?

    Depends on the target audience and the topic. Most important is the VALUE of the content to your target audience. If it's really valuable to them, it can be too long or too short, have too many graphics/pictures or too few.

    Be sure to have a professional create and review the content. You want to be sure it communicates the appropriate level of professionalism, attention to detail, and clear explanation of the subject matter. If you fall short on any of those the length or number of images won't save it.

    I am with Mgoodman - the length and quantity all varies. There isn't a set rule. The most important thing is that the white paper provide value to the readers .

    I would go out and review white papers from other companies in your industry and see what they are doing and follow a similar pattern for good ones.
