Healthy Wholefood Brand Names

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello

I’m struggling with a brand name for my business, in which I’m planning to sell whole foods, such as nuts and dried fruits online.

The brand avatar (prospect) for my brand is a person who is health conscious and values everything pure and natural.

Through my brand I hope to encourage and promote adopting health, balance, and a natural way of life, both internally, as well as externally.

Any good names I come up with seem to be taken.

Bearing this in mind, your kind help will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Where will you peddle your goods? How do prospects become customers? If i want to shop for nuts and stuff, how do I find you?

Chobani is a Turkish word for shepherd...does the American consumer know that? Doubtful, plus what does a shepherd relate to yogurt.

Don't over worry on a Brand Name per se...to address the longer term, do not get to catchy...keep it short...branding is listening to your customers (Mr. Bloomer's suggestion)...get the product to the shelf under any easily pronounced name...the consumer makes the brand, not the name

if the market is so crowded that you can't even find a name from dictionary words, then that means:

    1) You might want to consider using your personal name in the company name

    2) You come up with a name using the Big Pharma technique

Thanks a lot for your thoughts. This has been a good learning experience. I think the concept that it's the consumer that makes the brand and not the name makes sense.

    "Taste of Nature" sounds good.

    Many Thanks
