I Need A Great Title.

Posted by dodgemalachi on 250 Points
I am looking to start a blog. I need a good title, where better than a marketing website? Today I am a college graduate, finishing with two degrees and moving into the business world. I want to be one of the most successful business men of our time - I know, it sounds cocky and overblown, but why make small goals? No one gets anywhere by sitting down.

I want to start a blog to chronicle my spectacular rise or magnificent failure, whichever it becomes. I'm starting where I am, with about $6000 in cash and I am going to see where I can get to. I am working as a financial professional in the mean time.

Thanks and I look forward to your ideas.

Who is your blog's audience? Are you simply chronicling your life or are you sharing hard-learned knowledge or something else?

    Suggestion: From $6K To $6M in 6Yr

It's going to be a combination chronicle and sharing learned knowledge. I want to help people become financially literate, I feel it's something people are not enough aware of. My audience will be individuals between ages 15 and 35, male or female, who are interested in financial literacy.

If you are really serious about this, you probably need to start by understanding your target audience in some depth. There are more than 1 billion people who are "between ages 15-35, male or female," and you are not going to be able to satisfy them all. Narrow your focus and really get to know your audience well. (Note: Those who are 15-20 years old may be substantially different than those who are 30-35, etc.).

Then you need to figure out what success looks like for your blog. What's the real goal? You're going to be devoting serious time to the project, and you want to know when you have "arrived." What are your success criteria?
