Tagline For Art Shop

Posted by eleni.kv on 250 Points
Hello,
I am looking for a tagline for my online shop. I will be selling paintings and art prints made by me. My paintings are fun, whimiscal, colorful and quirky, mainly animal portraits. They are ideal for a kids bedroom or to add a bright and cheerful touch to any home. The shop name is 'Coocoovaya', which is 'owl' in Greek. I am looking for a simple tagline reflecting the 'happy' character of the shop but at the same time telling the clients the type of business.
Thank you

I like Jay's suggestion, "Fun & Whimsical Animal Art," because it tells what you do in an interesting (and accurate) way. You need that because the meaning of the name won't be immediately obvious to prospective customers who don't speak Greek.

Although I do not speak Greek myself, I do know that the Greek alphabet does not have a direct equivalent to the English letter V, and the Greek word for "owl" looks more like coocoobaya, not coocoovaya. Is there common understanding among native Greek-speakers that sometimes beta is pronounced as V?

Just curious and want to learn. I actually think the name "Coocoovaya" is intriguing and memorable enough to work, as long as there's a tagline that tells what you do.

Thank you Jay for your suggestions. I like 'Fun & Whimsical Art', it is playful and gives a clear picture of what the shop is about.

Michael, the Greek letter 'beta' (β) is actually always pronounced veta, so the shop name although it looks more like coocoobaya (κουκουβάγια), it sounds like coocoovaya (do I make sense?).

I wanted a shop name that would be playful and interesting and would not contain the obvious words like 'art' or 'studio' or anything like that. I also wanted a name that would have something to do with my country but at the same time would not be too difficult to remember. So since my shop name doesn't reflect the type of business, I will need a clear tagline to let the potential customers know what type of products I sell.
