Need An Exciting Festival Name

Posted by jason.frew on 250 Points
I am hosting a small music festival. It will be held on a bellhaven strawberry farm in scotland. Im looking for something fresh and exciting. Something that says dance music. Having a god time . Something short and punchy.

Strawberry fields would have been the ideal name. however there is already a festival in the uk called strawberry fields

Keep it simple: "The Bellhaven Strawberry Farm Music Festival"

Is the location significant for the naming (for example, why not simply: Belhaven Music Festival)? If the event's a success, but not held at the fields in the future - you may have a naming problem for next year (for example). Or, "Bel-havin' Bash"?

Ah sorry. I should have said that using bellhaven in the name is not possible. Bellhaven is a drinks brand.

    Bellhaven is not my business.

The festival is a music festival Dance music based however encorperates live bands in a separate area
    I am the event organiser/promoter
I have 2 other events I promote. “loch Lomond sound system” and the “IAMsterdam weekender”
    The event has no sponsors
The goal is to bring rural music fans, An event and music that would normally be too costly for them to go and see else where in Scotland
I expect people over 188 from all walks of life to attend the festival. The musicians and Dj’s will be the best and most popular acts at the time of the event that the events budget can stretch to

    Other similar festivals
    rockness
    Coloursfest
    Northern Lights
    Party in the park

Hummm. Im not looking for something geographical as such. though "Going Coastal" popped in my head when i seen the word coastal. Going postal is a terry prachet book. this would lead to some fairly Awesome fantasy artwork on the flyer. Though when people are talking about it they would say "are you going to Going Coastal" it doesnt scan well.

Coloursfest is out main competitor. the brand is colours and fest tells people its a festival.

rockness says its rock music (even though its not) and Ness because its on the banks of loch ness.

Northern lights well that doesnt really say anything. its in the middle of the country and in newcastle .

Being ouside the city doesnt differentiate it from other festivals in the country. T- In the park, rockness and Xfest are all outside the city. so were not unique in that respect.

Sorry, im not being much help.

3 weeks ive been trying to come up with something. bass rock is a local area of interest. Dunbar is the local town. Not very exciting names.

Tomorrowlands, Electric Daisy carnival and ultra music festival are also other festival names on a similar line to what we will be doing.

Your inpuut is very welcomed KSA
