This is a charity that raises money to purchase food for under-priveledged children who have no food to eat at home on the weekends. Food is discreetly placed in a Backpack that they take home on Friday afternoon.

What kind of event? Where? Who is your primary target audience for the event? Are they generally aware of the organization and its mission?

Thanks for the quick reaponse! It is an evening event at a country club with appetizers, a silent and possible live auction and a live band. We do not want it to be formal or semi-formal, just nice. There is a community awareness of blessings in a backpack, but our foundation is founded by our family under their umbrella. We are raising money to sponsor schools that do not qualify for the program (not a high enough percentage of minorities). Target audience for our first event will be family and friends. Approximately 200 people. I need something catchy to attract people to the event. Help!

I don't think "something catchy" will attract people to the event. I think what WILL attract them is an understanding of how much good they can do by supporting the organization.

If it's just an appeal for financial support, they may wonder why they have to show up at the event. Wouldn't it be better if 100% of their donations went to the cause? Do these folks really need a country club affair with a catchy name to persuade them to pay attention?

All that said, if it's just family and friends you want, how about "Blessings in a Backpack Friends and Family Celebration." Isn't that really what you want to communicate?
