Name And Tagline For Natural Health Co

Posted by allureint on 500 Points
Hi Everyone,

We are in the final stages of establishing our natural health company, the only stumbling block is a name we all love, and this is where I am certain you can assist.

The core business is an ecommerce platform selling organic/ all natural supplements with phase 2 being the delivery of educational webinars.

The entire range of supplements, powders and drinks are formulated as a result of knowledge based in science and all natural ingredients containing no fillers or binders, absolutely no chemicals, preservatives, artificial flavours or sweeteners and NEVER any animal testing, with some of the range being fermented to further enhance absorption.

Our advisory panel comprises leaders in their respective fields of integrated medicine and will cover:

Pre and post conception health ( mum and dad including optimum healthy sperm)
Healthy Aging
Sports
Cellular regeneration
Inflammatory and auto immune issues
General Wellness and Increased Energy

I have scoured science journals and business naming sites to no avail.
Something (if possible) that makes you think about science and nature colliding, maybe.

At the moment we have Health Crew / Fusion Health HQ
Both are what they are - perhaps a little boring.

Your thoughts would be awesome.
Thanking you in advance.
Kind Regards
Jacquie

The name you pick may not be something you initially love - since the name should ultimately appeal to your target market. To help us to help you, we'll need a lot more details about THEM: Who specifically is likely to be your target market? Located where? Why would they be interested in buying from you (instead of your competition)? Have you had independent 3rd party testing to validate your claims (how scientific are you really)?

Jay hit the nail on the head: From a marketing perspective, it's not important that you like the name (and/or tagline). The name and tagline (taken together) are supposed to communicate a compelling and unique benefit for your target audience.

That means you need to understand your target audience really well -- their needs, habits, practices, beliefs, attitudes, awareness, values and psychographic make-up. You even need to know what words they use to express these things and what their priorities are.

I'm always a little taken aback when I learn that people leave marketing (including naming) until the end of a business planning process. If you are really "in the final stages of establishing [y]our natural health company," how is it possible you haven't researched your target audience already? And if you have, you'd know what kinds of names, words and phrases would be most engaging for them.

At any rate, we can certainly suggest some naming options, but the deciding factor should NOT be whether you like the name. It should be whether the name/tagline communicate your desired positioning to the target audience in a compelling and engaging way.

    Hi All,

Apologies for the delay in answering your questions - hoping this will be enough to assist with sourcing some naming and tagline options.

The new company has evolved through a series of collaborations with integrated health practitioners, a scientist and a pharmacist, as such is akin to an umbrella organisation.

All are leaders in their respective fields. As an example, The conception expert has 6 books in print, translated into a number of languages and has engaged in 4 global speaking tours on the benefits of nutrition and supplementation for both mum and dads to be. Her target market are those aged between 25 and (now) 40 years old, who are either experiencing difficulties falling pregnant, early miscarriages or who simply wish to give their babies the best possible start to life.

As this is an ecommerce platform all products will be available globally with a strong focus on china.

The naming difficulty arises as each product (division) has multiple uses. Whilst the cellular regeneration product will benefit all, (the most intelligent anti oxidant available) this product will initially be targeted to those in the sporting/fitness arena, who need to cut down recovery times substantially and the healthy aging market. Vastly different markets I understand, however 1 dr specialises in sports and the other in anti aging medicine and products.

All supplements are formulated utilising only natural ingredients and are manufactured in a GMP facility.

All supporting data, scientific papers and findings, results etc will be readily available on our website.

Given the complexity of the products, the vastly different conditions being treated (and therefore market segments we would love to find a name and tagline that conveys "where science and nature meet" - In a nutshell we sell only premium health products to consumers who wish to:
reduce inflammation/improve gut health/increase absorption of vital nutrients/take a preventative approach and are proactive in terms of controlling/reaching an optimal health state.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards

    Jacquie
