What's the name of your company?
Who specifically is your target audience?
Why would they want to hire YOUR services?

    Hi Jay,

    Thanks for your kind assistance.

My company name has nothing relating to our product or services and i prefer to keep it P and C. For discussion sake, i will use LEC International Pte Ltd

The target audience are oil, gas and petchem traders, analysts, research, market intelligence, busineaa dev, mgmt.

Industry: oil, gas, petchem trading companies globally, financial banks, government official IEA EIA, consultancy, resaerch companies, energy exchanges.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

Why is what you offer decidedly better than what your competitor's offer?
How does "leading provider of market intelligence and pricing solutions for energy and commodities" translate into a concrete benefit your customers would receive from your services?

The slogans you've come up with are inward focused -- all about YOU and what YOU do. You might want to take a look at the CORE BENEFIT your primary target audience will experience when they deal with you. Step into their shoes and see if you can describe the dominant feeling and essential benefit they might express.

Have you done a SWOT analysis of your business? That's another good way to begin the process. Since your company name doesn't say much, the tagline or slogan carries the full burden of communicating your unique positioning. You really need to get it right.

Slogans and taglines are never about you.

Slogans are about what you're about to do.

Taglines are about what you've done or about what you've brought about.
