Need Tag Line For Business Of Personal Development

Posted by bill on 125 Points
I am seeking to brand myself. I have 25 years of training, seminar facilitation, coaching experience.
I offer so much every time I attempt to define what I do
I say but that's not all I do

What do I offer ?
What is my tag line ?
current: I help business improve performance by improving their human performance

I may be trying to be too much to too many or just haven't hit the right thing to describe what I offer
Help
Thanks

    A few initial questions:
    1) What types and/or sizes of business have you had the most success with? Where were they located?
    2) What measurable types of performance do you improve? Sales? Job satisfaction? Innovation?
    3) What specifically is "human performance"? Speed? Accuracy? Satisfaction? Communication?
    4) Between training, facilitation, and coaching - what's your sweet spot and why?
    5) Why do you know/do that HR departments can't/won't do for their employees?

Jay has asked some important questions for positioning your business ... not just for creating a tagline. Here are a few more that could be important:

    * Who is your primary target audience? Where? (Be specific.)

    * What unique and important benefit can your clients expect when they hire you?

    * Who is your primary competitor? What is their tagline?

When you say: "I have 25 years of training, seminar facilitation, coaching experience"; how much of that experience was working for yourself ? The point is important in considering your own confidence, attitude and commitment to working in your own business and is the element to look at following your response to the questions posed above by my colleagues here at KHE.

I am trying to ascertain whether you are starting a new company from a base as a long term employee of another training organisation or whether you are an existing company trying to expand. Marketing strategies, including the creation and use of taglines, will vary depending upon the circumstances of the company under review. More information is needed if we are to help you.

    Some some more related questions:

Do you work with clients online or do work with clients face to face?
What city are you based in?
    Who are your main competitors?
