Need Help Woth Womens Networking Group Name.

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I would like to start a national networking group for women only. I envision launching events for socializing, having guest speakers for various topics. Very similar to over40females and womenwholaunch. Need a savvy and memorable group name.

Can you define your target audience more specifically? Is it every woman in the country? If so, it's going to be pretty expensive to reach them all, and their needs will be very diverse.

What benefit will you promise (and deliver) to women who join/subscribe? What's in it for them?

Why? Why women only? Why national? (and national in what nation?)

    Grand Dames

Writers, authors, motivational speakers and coaches are the 4 demographic groups we are trying to target at this time. Yes nationally (US).

    Will men be excluded 100%?

I still don't quite get it. Where will you hold "events?" Will they be online events or real face-to-face events? If the latter, how will you appeal to your target audience throughout the U.S.?

Why might someone in your target groups want to join/subscribe? What's in it for them? What benefit will you deliver for them? Do you have any evidence that female writers, authors, motivational speakers and coaches are seeking a[nother] networking group? Any idea why?

It's hard to come up with a meaningful name if we don't understand the product, business model, or positioning benefit.

Looking at other comments here I think we have a problem understanding your purpose the the need you think you would be able to fulfil with this network.

What is it especially about women that means they need a different group from, say, the National Speakers Association which has plenty of female members?

And isn't it important that women are seen to be succeeding alongside and in competition with men rather than in an artificial environment?

Conversely, if you have a specific reason for a women-only networking group, how would you expect to be differentiated against existing successful groups like https://www.ladieswholaunch.com ?

Please understand, these questions are not a criticism of your concept, merely a way to flesh out more detail about what you are trying to achieve so we can better help you.
