Analyze it the same way you analyze any case: Start by identifying the primary target audience and its needs. Then decide what the company's current positioning is among that target audience, and how that positioning matches up to the needs.

List what you do, who you do it for, and why anyone would care.

Then list the traits and qualities you offer, contrast this list against a double-blind survey in which an independent polling organization asks your clients and competitors what's important to THEM in the niche, and then readjust your positioning and marketing strategies based on what the market is telling you.

Qualitative survey as well as also do in-depth analysis external & internal factors which can impact your product. Also do competitive analysis along with consumer behavior. Because consumer behavior is being changing rapidly today. so you can make strategy of your product & its positioning on your target audience.

here in the United States, public companies spend a lot of money doing a lot of research and publishing it in annual and quarterly financial documents. They describe the economic and regulatory situation and Outlook. You might see if you can find competitors to the company which are public companies in the same region, and see if you can obtain their public financial documents. The problems of your target company will likely be similar to those of their competitors, and the financial documents of their competitors can probably give you some good ideas for further research. Good luck.

For business environment, one of the analyses I immediately think of is the PESTEL analysis.

    Also a SWOT analysis.
