Where will your library be? What age group will it serve?

Is this a store that sells products, a library that lends products, or an area that lets kids play with things?

Who is the target audience? Where? What exactly is your value proposition? Do you have a marketing plan? Who pays how much to support the business?

It may be premature to be worrying about the name.

Off the top of my head...

    Smile Factory

    Play Day

    Lollipops

    Lollipop Tree

    Silly City

Here's a quick tactic that may help. It isn't perfect, but hopefully you will understand the general process.

    1) Write down a list of words that describe how you want people to FEEL about your business.

    Ex: Fun, safe, happy/smile, familiar

    2) Next to each feeling, write word or two of some thing, action, or perhaps another feeling/sensation that is associated with each. Anything will do. It doesnt have to be about toys or games.

Ex: 1) Fun - laugh, silly, play, saturdays, water puddles, mud, cartoons, food, slides, toys; 2) Familiar - home, vanilla, family, friends, pets; 3) yummy - pancakes, suckers, jelly, sugar, cookies, cake

    3) From the words you just listed, combine them to create some thing and/or action that:
    a) evokes the feelings you just expanded
    b) likely to be familiar to your audience
    c) easy to spell
    d) easy to say

Ex: Saturday Morning Pancakes (safe, yummy, family, good memories, fun)
Silly Zone (fun, safe, play, toys, relax)
Lollipop Tree (yummy, fun, imagine, grow, family)

Use one of these creations as your name. The name Saturday Morning Pancakes is one of my favorites. It is currently being used by a popular Etsy store that sells pillows, shirts, aprons, etc with nostalgic 70's - 80's movie references (e.g., an apron that says "Luke, I am your Father. Eat your Vegetables! ").

The name immediately evokes fond childhood memories of saturday mornings, the smell of maple syrup, relaxing, being care-free, feeling safe, happy, and having fun.

I will never forget that store because it connected with my feelings in a deep, yet fun way. It's one of the best branding examples I have come across in years!

    Hope this helps!

P.S. Rhymes are helpful. Research the easiest sounds that young toddlers/kids can say (e.g., poo poo, na na, Ooooo, my, moo, pee, no)
