Tagline For Woods Realty Group

Posted by janajoywoods on 50 Points
I need help with a tag line for my new real estate group - Woods Realty Group. I am thinking of a logo of a "W" in front of a group of trees or forest or a home in front of trees. Maybe a play on words for woods?

Instead of a play on words, why not showcase what will distinguish yourself from other Realtors in your area (which is....?)?

I was hoping to be a little different since everyone uses the same 50 real estate taglines. ...

Are real estate buyers looking for "different"? I suspect not. If I'm about to invest $500K, I, for one, am not looking for different: I want tried and true. I want confidence. I want reliability. I want a trusted, likable, knowledgable authority.

"Clever" taglines are not nearly as effective as taglines that communicate an important and unique benefit. Your prospective clients are not seeking a witty realtor as much as they are a solid, experienced professional who can deliver against objectives.

If all you want from your tagline is "clever" (or wordplay, or "different"), you have a fundamental positioning problem. You'll just be putting lipstick on a pig.
