Help With Tagline For Dog Breeding Business

Hi everyone!

We are starting to raise Goldendoodles and need help with finding a tagline. Our business name will be “Majestic Rose Goldendoodles”, which is a play on both our last name and our founding mom “Rosie” (not the flower type of rose!). It is a family-run business, we will be raising all puppies in our home, and all parents will be fully health tested prior to breeding. I would like something classy/distinguished that emphasizes the quality of our puppies as well as the love/care we put into planning and raising these little ones. No need for the word rose to be in it!

    The name “Majestic Rose Goldendoodles” doesn't communicate something "classy/distinguished that emphasizes the quality of [the] puppies as well as the love/care we put into planning and raising" them. My suggestion would be to consider the name and tagline together, so the combined effect is to position your business the way you want it to be perceived.

    If you are totally committed to “Majestic Rose Goldendoodles” then the tagline has a lot of extra work to do -- position the company AND explain what “Majestic Rose” means in a way that makes sense, and communicates a meaningful benefit, to your target audience.

    As a minor suggestion to your business name, consider: Majestic Rose's Goldendoodles. That'll naturally raise the question, "Who is Majestic Rose?"

    Regarding a tagline, mgoodman raises the key points about your request. Perhaps you can explain how your puppies will be MUCH better than other breeder's puppies, for example.

    Thanks so much everyone for your suggestions so far, I really appreciate it! So, say I'm starting from scratch and coming up with a completely brand new name (with no "Rose" in it!). What would your suggestions be for that name and/or tagline? Something classy/distinguished that emphasizes the quality of our puppies as well as the love/care we put into planning and raising these little ones.

    Good to eliminate 'rose'. I thought it referred to a special reddish color/tint for Goldendoodles.

    Benefits of ownership include .. Non-Shedding / Hypoallergenic, Highly Intelligent, Qualified Service Dogs, Great with Kids and No Biting.

    Positioning statement: Best New Breed for the Whole Family
    (repositioning other breeds as old, having medical problems from narrow breeding, shed and smell etc.)

    Brand name: Use name with a story behind it, authentic story you can tell to others. Memorable and easy to pronounce. Name that paints a picture in the customer's mind:

    Legend of Golden ...
    Golden Barn ...
    Mrs. Goodles Goldendoodles (sorry about this one)

    Just doodle around with words and ideas until everyone agrees .. that's the right name.
