Lifestyle Coach Needing Help For Tagline And Logo

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am a certified Lifestyle/Health coach. My business is primarily done all online through social media. My clients are anyone with health challenges, anyone who needs to lose weight, anyone who wants to get fit and lean, and anyone who wants to get healthy and needs guidance.

I have several domain names which are all forwarded to different social media sites for now. I am looking to developing them into websites which then drives traffic to social media and/or vise versa.

Here are my domain names:
LifestyleCoachCindy.com
HealthCoachCindyRichardson.com
LifestyleFatLossSolutions.com
AllThingsHealthyNow.com >>> Setting up an LLC with this name
HealthTipsWithCindy.com
HealthNewsWithCindy.com
HealingWithCindy.com

Here's my initial thought:
Lifestyle by Design - Fitness for your mind, body & spirit.

Thanks!

So the first step is to narrow your target audience so you can really zero in on what's most relevant to the prime prospects. Where do they live? Male or female? Upper income or middle-income? What other products, services and brands do these folks like and use? Values, beliefs, habits, practices, attitudes, awareness, psychographic profile, etc.?

Then let's understand the important, unique and single-minded positioning benefit you will promise them (and deliver). What's most important to these folks? What makes you different from, and better than, the hundreds of other lifestyle coaches out there? Why should someone in your target audience hire you for this?

It seems to me that if you're serious about building a brand around what you do, you need some objective guidance and direction. A tagline is more than some cute words. Focus on the meaning and the needs of the people to whom you are talking.

Your clients are NOT anyone with whatever the pain points you've outlined above: your clients need to see themselves very particularly in your messaging.

This means going narrow and deep (whittling out a good number of non-clients in the process).

Your best bet is to focus on the needs of the people who are most likely to follow your advice and on those who are most able to afford your fees. By taking the approach that "anyone" is your buyer you open yourself up to lots of time wasters and tyre kickers—FEW OF WHOM will ever buy from you.

"Lifestyle by Design" could mean you're selling a product, architectural services, etc. Your proposed tagline "Fitness for your mind, body & spirit" doesn't help clarify. As a minimum, use the word "coach" (or phrase "Health Coach") to make it clear what you're offering. But more importantly, as Gary & Michael have mentioned - you need to focus better on who's likely to want YOUR services (instead of a local trainer, doing it themselves, or using another health coach).

Thanks for your comments so far. To further define my clients, the main focus would be middle class, men and women, who have tried "diets" in the past and have been unable to lose weight, or able to lose weight but gain it back and then more. The program doesn't revolve around a particular "diet" because diets don't work. It's a personalized lifestyle change, hence the "Lifestyle by Design." I am in daily contact with them helping them to find the nutritional balance they need, tweaking it when needed. It is done online by email, texts, webinars, and therefore can be done anywhere in the country. I create a supportive environment that will enable them to achieve all of their health goals.

But it's just not for those that want to lose weight. Anyone with health challenges that is looking for answers is a candidate. Also, people that don't need to lose weight but want to lose body fat (become fit and lean). Finally, I'm able to offer this same health coaching opportunity for those interested in helping other people get healthy.

    Additional ideas:
    Customized health and fitness coaching.
Helping you find the wellness you seek.
    Lifestyle Excellence - Lifetime Health.
    Specializing in Nutrition and Wellness.
Nutritional Health Coaching - Eat Well - Feel Well - Live Well.

As mgoodman suggested, you really need to hone in on that one thing that will most benefit your customers and you can "very particularly" provide for them.

Since that one thing is not a diet or the like, but rather it's a lifestyle .. it seems like the one thing is a "good habits lifestyle". People get out-of-shape with bad habits. People get into and stay in-shape with good habits.

So perhaps this is the right focus for your primary benefit tagline —

    Learn Healthy Habits Daily
Change Your Habits, Change Your Health
Healthy You, Make It A Habit
    The Daily Healthy Habits Coach
    Be The Healthy Habit

    You get the idea ..

I actually really like your original tag line: Lifestyle by Design - Fitness for your mind, body & spirit.

I'd also suggest that you combine all your websites. Having so many web addresses dilutes your brand equity and SEO score. If you already have sufficient audience, merely focusing on referral and additional business from existing clients will get you great results. - people often talk about their diet and lifestyle problems (though not too deeply) with their friends. Focus on making your existing customers really satisfied, and you will be rewarded for your hard work.

    Good luck.
