Purpleberry Wreaths

Posted by mmarieculp on 250 Points
I need a catchy slogan for my new company please. We custom design wreaths of all sorts. I need something that will catch someone's attention and stick in their heads. It's very important to me because this is a business that myself and my family have opened after my father passed away, in his honor. He made wreaths and other sorts of flower arrangements and wanted us to open a company! So anything that you could come up would be awesome to us! Thanks so much!

Since "Purpleberry Wreaths" is a memorable name, it's more important that you explain in your tagline who is likely to purchase from you, when, and why. Can you share more details?

"Catchy" is a trap. When you are too catchy, people will miss the benefit they can expect when dealing with you. It's better to be very clear about the benefit, and not worry so much about "catchy." Most of the time, catchy is a diversion that shows up when the marketer doesn't know who the target audience is or what the main benefit is.

So who is your primary target audience? Where? What benefit can they expect?

Agreeing with Jay and Michael, your name doesn't explain what you do and for who.

"custom design wreaths of all sorts" is a good starting point. Try to convey this phrase with fewer words.

I will assume that you make decorative wreaths for peoples homes and cottages, not just for holidays or occasions? Here are two very different approaches, depending on who your market is.

PurpleBerry Wreaths: Quality crafts for distinctive decor
PurpleBerry Wreaths: We're hung up on you

Catchy is not a strategy. Who buys your wares and what kind of catchment area do you serve?

    Purpleberry Wreaths

    "Beautiful wreaths for you"
    "Beautiful wreaths for any occasion"
"Beautiful wreaths for you and your occasions"

Since the name of the company includes the words "purple," berry," and wreath," I'd use the tagline to communicate the unique BENEFIT your customers can expect when they buy whatever you sell -- presumably prupleberry wreaths.
