    Omar,

I'm certain there is a textbook answer to this question, but things like honesty and integrity etc are obvious.

If you follow it to its natural conclusion, dishonest marketing research leads to the wrong product being introduced which leads to company losses which leads to lost of the researcher's income.

You could then make the case that you are responsible to yourself to do right.

I believe that the Marketing Research Society has some criteria that members need to fulfil in order to remain members. See https://www.mrs.org.uk/code.htm

Answers to the following would be most helpful before offering any recommendations.

What type of research are you doing primary or secondary? If it is primary what type? What do you plan to do with the information?

    Respectfully
