Excel (or if you don't have access to it, free: www.openoffice.org) can plot/graph all the data you have.

Also, here is some software (not free, but there may be free trials you can use for your project): https://www.market-modelling.co.uk/Matrix/MATRIX_Step10_1.htm

    Hello jayan,

I would think that you will have a hard time finding free software that does what you need, nevertheless, I suggest you try https://sourceforge.net It is by far the most reputable site with lists of open source software and projects. Do let us know if you are successful.

Otherwise, use Microsoft Visio https://office.microsoft.com/en-us/visio/default.aspx (full version is free for 30 days) Visio would be your best choice for “whole gamut of market data has to be plotted in a flow chart” as it easily connects data sources with the diagrams, flow-charts etc.

    Hope this helps,

If you are focusing on the U.S. the Metropolitan Statistical Areas are an extremely useful tool.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_metropolitan_areas

These are the highest populated areas in the U.S. It is a great resource for identifying and targeting certain areas even when they cross state lines and include multiple cities. On the 'net you can also find lists with all zip codes within those MSA's to really get specific.

This site also has a lot of good geographic info. www.census.gov

I just finished a project very similar to this. I used the MSA's, Excel, and Google Earth. If you have a technical guy at your disposal you can do some really interesting things with Google Earth.

    Hope this helps!
