Where To Find Good Marketing Research

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
My 2 person marketing team has been cut to just one. Me! I am trying to get together all of my marketing plans for 2009 and am trying to find research on various topics and have no idea where to begin. I am looking for email marketing research, print advertising marketing research. We target employer groups, health plans, unions... things of this nature and try to get under the nose of the benefits and/or finance person. If anyone has any suggestions, I am open to getting them. Thank you!

A few good places to start are the Direct Marketing Association, Email Stat Center, and the American Marketing Association:

    https://www.emailstatcenter.com/

With such a small marketing staff, it might be a good idea to join one, particularly the AMA, as their resources and knowledge might be a good way to countereffect the recent cut.

Also, note that there are resources out there that are "paid for" research. Before investing in any of these, you will want to see if you can get a table of contents or section titles so that you can evaluate the value of the content ahead of time.
