Mrkt Plan - Industrial Sector Canada - Research

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello!

I am currently working on a business/marketing plan for a distribution company. I am looking for data on the industrial market in Quebec, Canada.
Also, this company plans to move into the manufacturing industry, so this information is also required.
There is no budget assigned for the research, so I would really appreciate links and ressources that are free...

Thanks!
Stef

Start with the government website: https://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/ic1.nsf/eng/home

If it were my project, I'd go to the target customers for the new business and ask them where they currently get whatever it is the client will be distributing or manufacturing.

The Canadian site is good, but the best site https://www.icriq.com/en/index.html

From their "About Us" page: icriq gives you free access to the most accurate data bank of Québec manufacturers and wholesalers-distributors on its home page. icriq.com is a site managed by the Banque d'entreprises du Québec of the Centre de recherche industrielle du Québec (CRIQ).
