Hi,
I'm looking for a good contemporary topic in the field of marketing of services for my Phd. Could anyone please suggest of some topics. All suggestions are welcome.

    Always great to see a PhD student checking the managerial relevance of research topics!

    As the (lone?) marketing professor amongst marketing professionals, I assume you have checked out the topic listing of past 'Frontiers in Services' conferences:

    and the Services Special Interest Group of the AMA:

    Which (integration) of these topics - and the ones suggested by professionals on this Forum- are YOU interested in working on? Remember you will be studying this area for about 7-10 year (PhD + assistant professor...later on it pays to expand your horizon). Therefore, amongst the topics of interest to (at least some) marketing professionals and academia, make sure to choose one that fits your skills and interests.

    Did you mean:
    'How do consumers talk about (positive and negative) service encounters in social media and how can/should marketers join the conversation'?
