Retail Transformation

i'm doing my masters and would like professional help in researching about effective way of dealing with transformation during economic recession. this should bodder on retail sector in second world countries lioke south africa

    Dear Clever,

    Both the retail sector and the economic recession are hot topics right now in marketing academia, but currently under-researched, especially in developing countries. So I would say, go ahead: doing your masters in this area will certainly get people's attention and, if the work is done with rigor, would make a nice contribution to literature.

    By the way, 'second world' used to mean communist countries - did I miss the redefinition?

    You might want to consider how marketers can succeed in despotic regimes with rampant - runaway - inflation like Zimbabwe.
