Glad to hear you are strongly determined...though that usually implies you have some idea as to which topics in marketing excite you :-)

which reveals the most important topics to leading marketing practitioners...now you just have to pick one that will energize YOU for the next 5-10 years

What interests you? What do you want to do with your life after you get the PhD? It's important to know what the goal is BEFORE you start the journey.

How determined are you really?

Why would you want a stranger to tell YOU a topic for your PHD?

Why not go out into an industry that interests you or is of national significance, ask CEOs what their biggest marketing problems are, and research THOSE?
