Need Information On Volume Based Forcast

Hi,

I am working on volume based sales forecast generation.
I am not familiar with lot many terms.

Ex --
Any Feature without Display - Percent ACV
Any Feature without Display - Sales Dollars
Any Feature without Display - Sales Units
Any Display without Feature - Percent ACV
Any Display without Feature - Sales Dollars
Any Display without Feature - Sales Units
Any Feature and Display - Percent ACV
Any Feature and Display - Sales Dollars
Any Feature and Display - Sales Units
Price Discount - Percent ACV
Price Discount Price Per Unit
No Promo Price Per Unit
No Promo - Percent ACV


Please provide some guide on this.

    What country? Where did you get this list?

    It looks like a list of the data reported by Nielsen or IRI in the United States. There are very specific definitions for each of the terms on your list, and those who have used Nielsen or IRI data will know them immediately.

    Your best bet, however, is to get the official definitions from the source. Both companies (Nielsen and IRI) have published documents with the criteria for each term. That's what you should use.

    (I've used information from both companies and consulted in the industry, but I still think you're better off getting the definitions from the company providing the data.)
