Auto Online Survey Reports

I've seen numerous forum questions regarding online survey tools, but none asking about reports...

Can anyone recommend a professional online survey solution that allows you to set up automated, customizable and editable reports? Solutions like Survey Monkey (and all the others) seem good at survey generation, but weak on reporting functionality (unless I'm missing something?).

I need to be able to:
- set up a series of graphs based on selections of differing analysis of the data.
- benchmark survey results for one client with all industry clients who have taken the same survey.
- add commentary to the reports as required.
- design/brand the overall look/feel of the report.

    Hi Jason,

    If your survey solution supports an API or it can send you an e-mail on a daily basis with results in, you should be able to write a small app to bring that data into a database then use a tool like Tableau Server or similar to create the report you describe.

    We've built a solution that did exactly this for a client a couple of years ago so feel free to send me a message if you want further help in doing this.

    I agree about SurveyMonkey. I'm a premium user but I don't think it provides the custom functionality you're seeking.

    Have you tried SPSS? It's been the reference program for data analysis for years.

    A free trial is available at https://www.spss.com/

    It takes a while to get around all the functionality but I suspect it will deliver all your requirements and more.

    It's premium price, but Qualtrics has a lot of flexibility in its report function, as well as downloading output to Word, Powerpoint and Excel files for further "tweaking." It also interacts with SPSS nicely. www.qualtrics.com

    Thanks for your recommendations.

    I haven't used SPSS in years, so will take a look. Not sure if Qualtrics pricing will be prohibitive, but will look a little deeper at this option also.

    Any additional options most appreciated :)

    As a paying user, I have to declare an interest as slagging it off would make me look stupid! SurveyGizmo is a product which will do most of what you require and with a bit of integration it will do everything – we have managed all the features you mentioned and the reports generated helped us to win significant contracts.

    It is also worth mentioning that their support team are extremely helpful, easily exceeding what it says on the can!!

    Steve, thanks for the kinds words!

    Jason, we can do everything you asked for. Themed reporting and adding commentary is all new with the latest version of our reporting tool. We also integrate with SPSS by exporting SPS (syntax) and SAV files.

    I can't speak to their exact capabilities however I would suggest looking into Questionpro as well to make an informed decision. QuestionPro also has a lot of features for the price point.

    I believe some of the more expensive vendors (Confirmit, Inquisite and Vovici) may have customizable reporting tools like ours.
