Online Customer Survey Tool: Which Do You Love?

Posted by andrea on 1000 Points
Hey There -

I'd love your recommendation if you have recently (past 24 months) used an online customer survey tool and had a good experience. I myself have used QuestionPro and Zoomerang before, but it was a while ago.

My client needs to do a survey data integration back into Salesforce.com - so if you had a positive experience with that, I'd be especially keen to know what service you used!

Thanks a million!

    Hi Andrea,

Having used Zoomerang several times, I find both the survey design and the basic analysis very quick and easy. You can download the results to Excel, Powerpoint or PDF, which helps to communicate the results to diverse audienes. No experience with QuestionPro or Salesforce.com though

    Cheers

I used Survey Monkey towads the end of last year. I found it useful for my purposes and encountered no problems. The data is downloadable in a few formats, as described above I think. Just thought another one to add to the pot which may be worth you looking at :)

Last I knew, SurveyMonkey didn't support the kind of conditional branches and pipings that QP/SC do . . . I could be out of date . . . for me those functions are the critical

    andrea,

I agree with all the other responses above. the choice of survey back-end usually depends on the kind of analyses needs that you have. If you're looking for pure excel data, then I'd recommend both zoomerang & surveymonkey. There are other platofrms that you can use which are integrated with salesforce, like pollzter or clicktools (my data team tells me that clicktools is pretty good as far as CRM requirements go)

in the end, its again dependant on your data needs vs. time required to integrate.

    good luck,
    s

Thanks to you all for your input. In fact, i DO need to have question piping and facility manipulating the data for analysis, and reintegration into Salesforce.

I have heard great things about Clicktools but find it a bit pricey. I will look into Pollzter - that's a new one to me!
