Colorful, classy (and sometimes, "brassy") seems to reflect a friendly New Orleans'' atmosphere. Eclectric with strong, stability in furniture and serving pieces. Don''t bother with trying to get everything to "match." One thing to consider, however, is offering cloth napkins (not white) along with a generous heaping of sturdy paper napkins as back up at each table. Mardi gras time offers awesome potential to ''rev'' things up the ambience with decorations that scream "Mardi Gras!!, specially named drinks and/or dishes, with lots of PR potential. Good luck, you''ve got a fun challenge ahead of you!
