Data from past performance is a useful way to project demand. If you don't have any data yet find someone who does or someone who has the math skills to forecast without it.

The Forecasting Principles website has a decision tree that offers recommendations on how to select a forecasting method based on a given situation. (Link follows.) The main website also provides some other resources.

    Dears ,

Thank you for your response I as if you have the mathematical ways to calculate and forecast demand like (customer live value method ,.... ) or any other way
    thanks again for your considerations

Customer life time value is indeed a promising approach if you are in a data-rich industry such as banking, mobile and other services (where you have individual data on customers) - you will still need to project the demand of new customers.

When such data is lacking, many companies turn to econometric modeling of past data (imagine's answer) or to agent based modeling to simulate the future

And Armstrong's forecasting principles indeed hold - thanks for posting the decision tree!
