Query On Social Mktg. & Public Health

For my PhD program, The tentative topic that I have finalized as of now is "Menstrual hygiene practices amongst women in their reproductive age group and their behavior towards use of sanitary napkin in the rural areas of Khurda district"

Am bit bewildered as how to amalgamate the issue of public health aspect along with social marketing.

Somebody pls. guide me as how should I go about it...

    Talk to your advisor. It's a big issue, with lots of sub-issues that will need attention. If you're not a woman, you'll likely have an additional problem talking to women about their hygiene practices.

    I don't understand how social marketing relates to your topic. You might as well replace it with "aerospace exploration."
