Posted by em on 50 Points
I am in the process of putting together content marketing packages, and I was wondering if anyone has some good resources to use to help build these packages. I am looking for the following information:

Quality writers often charge by the word, or the published word. These days, there's no standard rate -- the range of pay for copywriters varies from $2 per article (usually terrible quality or awful translations/manipulations created by software programs) to $2-$3 per word or more for original work from a writer with expertise in the topic.

Good writing is really about thinking, providing information which is then well expressed. So, as you evaluate writer prices, consider the amount of thought, investigation, research or analysis you want in the piece you are ordering. This should be proportionate to the expectations of the audience your content is meant to attract, and/or the sophistication of the brands you hope to advertise.

If you need more detail about rates, please provide more specific information about what you want your business to achieve, and describe your audience(s) and customers, and their expectations.

Thank You Peg. At this juncture I cannot give more information, but you did confirm my theory that the better writers are charging by the word. Thanks!
