Could you please tell us why you need this analysis?

This all sounds alarmingly vague. Are you the competition, do you want to enter the market - or is this a student question?

Do you have access to their annual reports? These contain valuable insights.

Have you studied their website? What whitepapers have they published (and why?) What is their position in the media - this may be problematic if you don't speak Malaysian (I presume you do). There are English speaking newspapers in Malaysia, although they will be less comprehensive.

Do an internet search on the markets they serve. See what others are doing by comparison. If they are a large corporation they will be using the standard methods of advertising - so looking at their use of the media will be relatively simple. Check the keywords they will be using and do an internet search of them - the results will be interesting. I doubt they will be doing PPC so things like Spyfu aren't likely to help much (though the competition may).

For SWOT analysis either Google it or have a look at this article https://www.businessballs.com/swotanalysisfreetemplate.htm

Finances of the company may be found by examining the annual reports (if you are lucky). You could try the annual reports of the financing companies to see if they declare who they lend money to.

    Does this help a little?

I'm glad it helped a little. Oh, and it's better not to post information that could be considered confidential on a public site! Good luck. M

So, you're a student, you want all this information, and you want it right now? And you're incapable of using Google, or of contacting the company directly, or of doing your own research because ...?

No one here is going to give you this company's financial breakdown: that's got to come directly from them. You're "doing research" but in reality, by asking for all this information and by not finding it yourself, you're simply phoning it in. This is your assignment. What aspects of SWOT have YOU looked at? What conclusions have YOU come to? What effort have YOU put in? Where have YOU looked? How HARD have you looked?

You're asking for all your answers to be given to you so that you can shine because of someone else's effort, which is really NOT the way the world works.

Gary, my point of view was to give direction rather than a dressing down. Sometimes it is not easy to imagine how to obtain this information, especially when your professors lack that knowledge too. Marketers such as yourself can give valuable tips as to where this kind of thing is found.

This question isn't about me, or the opinions of other contributors of my opinion. Nor is it about what I've copied, or not copied. It's about an apparent lack of willingness on the parts of many of the students posting questions on this forum to first put in some effort and offer evidence of the research they have already done (or not done), and it's about a lack of visibility of taking responsibility.

So really, the logical fallacy of the points above is simply ridiculous. And thank you, Mariarty, given the length of time I've been contributing to this forum, and given the number of copy and paste style student questions I've read and contributed to, I'll answer questions any way I choose to. Rather than correcting other people with passive aggressive nonsense, I suggest you spend more time looking at the questions behind the questions.

As for the questioner, having read and reread your question five times, its urgency, to my ear, outweighs any visibility on your part of effort invested to help yourself.

    Thankyou.

There are times when the other marketers forget just how little marketing they learned at university.

I "should" give you advice? "Should" I? Oh, begging your pardon your majesty for forgetting my role as a mere educational serf and marketing minion, whose sole role upon this Earth and upon this forum is to wait on the likes of your good self, my lord, hand, foot, and finger, morning, noon, and night. How selfish of me to forget my role! As soon as I've finished scrubbing your toilet with my toothbrush, I'll get right back on to my search on Google for your answers—answers which I'll be sure to plate in gold and encrust with diamonds before submitting them for your esteemed review. Perish the thought that I should speak out of turn my lord and master: your wish is my command.
I'll be sure to present myself for a thorough flogging on the hour, every hour for the rest of my life.

I suggest you look up the word "sarcasm".

Gary, how did you ratchet up over 100,000 points? Not by Googling ... but by sharing your knowledge and understanding. Oh, and not by cleaning toilets either.

All the chap wanted was pointing in the right direction - and you round on him for phrasing his question poorly.

    Randall,
the poster in question may not have your command of English. It is no easy thing to express yourself in a foreign tongue without sounding like a phrasebook.

And since it is an open forum, I have allowed my opinion to be heard.
