Need Recommendation For Brand Awareness Survey

My company is looking to do our first ever Brand Awareness Survey. Once this one is complete, we'll be doing these regularly every 6 months. We have a proposal from our ad agency but are unhappy with it. It was not very well thought out. Any recommendations on US-based companies would be greatly appreciated...especially someone that has done work in our market before: Healthcare IT. Looking to contract right away. Thanks in advance.

    How will the results of this survey (which needs to be double-blind survey by the way) help you and, more importantly, how will you then use the information you gather to strengthen your market presence?

    The Market Research Association and Quirks both have directories of market research firms with location and speciality. Healthcare IT is quite specialised and getting a good response rate will be the biggest challenge. It's likely to be quite expensive to get sufficient sample.
