Free Statistical Data Of Public Records Needed

I am looking for statistical data by state or county for building and remodeling permits, registrations, or similar information. I am also needing building codes, warranty requirements, and architectural trends by these areas (example: green building). If it is available popular building publications for the state as well. Where would I go for this type of research for public data records?

    Hi kconsford,

    Have you contacted the building permit offices of the locales you need the information on?

    Last I checked they had all this on microfiche (yes, microfiche is still being used) and digitally and it is public information so you should be able to access it.
