Each is lively, colorful, and at-a-glance informative about fundamental elements of social media—offering tips on how you can get the most out of each social channel.

The Conversation Prism distills the major players of the social media universe into panels, helping you better define how to use each one: Flipboard, for example, is a prime "social curation" tool. For "reviews and ratings," you want go-to services like Yelp or Amazon. Sites like Facebook, bebop and hi5 are pure "social networks" or human connection hubs.
