B2B social marketing isn't an easily intuitive process because social has oft been perceived as consumer-focused. (For the most part, anyway.)

But here's some good news: Social Media B2B—a great resource for B2B strategists—has made life a little easier for cautious B2B socializers by publishing 10 Tweetable Twitter Tips for B2B Marketers.

Here are five of them, sure to help turn your B2B tweets more fruitful:

Note when your audience is most engaged by tracking clicks and retweets. Bitly, CoTweet, and Hootsuite are great enterprise Twitter tools; here are other social listening tools and a list of what to listen for.

Use industry keywords in your Twitter bio. This makes you easier to find when people run searches for them. Don't exhaust your bio with keywords, though; choose a maximum of three!
