Hulu has certainly made a big splash in the online video world. It's quickly becoming a favorite way to watch TV shows and movies. Hulu's market share continues to grow as TV big boys ABC, Fox, and NBC Universal are backing the service.

But what's ironic about Hulu's growth strategy is that, according to CEO Jason Kilar, traditional TV ads have helped boost Hulu.com's popularity. Specifically, Kilar claims that Hulu's Super Bowl ad earlier this year resulted in a 49% increase in business.

Furthering Hulu's focus on traditional TV spots is its latest ad, with celebrity spokesperson Denis Leary. If you're one of those immersed in the digital world—creating content on your blog or Facebook page or tweeting your thoughts—you probably took a particular liking to Leary's message about sharing and embedding Hulu's content.
