Identifying Associates All Over The World.

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
We make promotional and other bags in India (https://www.badlani.com/bags/). We get B2B inquiries from our website, convert about 20% to orders and ship using Fedex or UPS. Our primary market is the US. Now, I'd like to identify marketing associates all over the US, Europe, Australia, Japan. My questions are: How do I identify prospects, reach them, and what kind of proposal might work for them.

Rajiv, thanks for filling out your bio on your Profile page.

Other experts here in KHE will offer better help to you than I can about getting Norquest bags into the reseller channels for promotional products. Nevertheless, after visiting your website, I want to share some thoughts with you...

You've got a nice-looking website. Can you do some Search Engine Optimization to increase the hits you get? And what things can you do on the site to improve your conversion rate?

Can you put some more "depth" into the options available for the different bags? Show the color choices, for starters, and the footprint size for adding logos. And instead of relying on email inquiries, put in some baseline pricing for printing the graphics and for shipping. You're very likely to recoup any investment you put into adding those web functions, because online resellers will DEMAND them.

For site usability, you ought to reduce the number of categories. There's way too much redundancy! And I'm not convinced that it's necessary to launch so many browser windows when you click on a product image or link. Also, you need to get a copywriter or translator to fine-tune the English (i.e., "order as few as 50 pieces").

Is there a reason your URL (Badlani) and your business identity (Norquest) have to be different? I'm not going to do any domain availability research for you, but surely you can get something like www.norquestbags.com as a URL.

That's it from me. Hope some of the ideas are useful.

    - Shelley
