Movie Treat To Customers To Gain Loyalty

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I will be hosting a movie treat to our customers. It will be our 1st time doing it and would like to get some ideas on organizing such event.
This movie treat not just to give-away free tickets to watch the latest movie but I would to do it more interestingly and help to shift the brand (defection).
Was wondering if there are any special method to help this event to make it a success. I know a lots of companies especially banks are doing it.
My obj tentatively is to create awareness on our brand although our brand is already well-known. Tight competition and changing environment (government rolling) making our market stiffer than before.
Will competition and contest able to attract customer so i able to achieve this ojective? Additional to that, we only allow to put bunting as the cinema would not allow us to put banner and our items into the cinmea. Any great idea?
Therefore seeking helpful advice on this urgently!
Thanks

Why not have the movie viewers bring along a can of food for a food bank as an entire into the movie?

That way lower income people that might not be able to go and see a movie can go and see one, and you also might get your name mentioned in the media because you are helping children as well as giving some food to the needy.

You could also buy the advertising that comes on screen before the movie starts.

This has worked well for a in my home town, they do it every year.

Another way would be to get a copy of this film Star Wreck 6 The Prickening www.starwreck.com , it is a movie that was made by fans of star trek and is allowed to be distributed for free. So you can maybe have a "pack" where people get to go to the movie, some popcorn, a drink and a (tastefully) branded CD or DVD of the movie. You also might include some advertisement on the CD/DVD for your product.

The movie is REALLY good, in fact it is better than a lot of multimillion dollar budget movies.

If you want first 5 moives the email me and i will give you a downlaod link. The are noware near as good as the first (but hey they are home made)

I have a few clients that use 'a night out at the movies' as a regular reward for their loyal clients. My cleints rent the theatre for the night, and play a current feature film.

How fancy would you like to make the event?

Rather than simply pre-pay tickets and send them to clients, organize it and make it a 'Premiere' event. If you rent the whole theater, tae over the lobby if you can. Hire your own people to 'work the room'. Hire a few folks wo wander around the room handing out bags of popcorn. If you plan far enough ahead, print your own popcorn bags with messages about your company and products.

Hand out custom printed drink cups with your corporate logo.

Buy bags of candy custom wrapped with your business logo to give away.

Have folks ciculating the room handing out 'booklets' about the movie, and your company, or, hire the ticket takers to hand out your 'book' when they take tickets at the door.

Before the movie starts, do a short speech about your company.

Make a Powerpoint presentation, rent a projector, and play the presentation about your company before the movie starts.

Do dinner and a movie, and do a short presentation while dinner is served.

Send letters a week before your movie out night, with talking points about your company as well as the invitation.

Work the room, work the room, work the room.

I hope that is enough ideas for now. My fingers are tired.

Is it possible that an movie star of the showing movie who might say something about the movie and your brand. This can create loyalty among your customers. Its not necessary for an star but the director or producer. It will really have an impact on the competitors.

Weather/Situation permitting, try doing an outdoor movie for your customers/families in a picnic atmosphere. Hire a popular bbq or restaurant around to cater the food as well as hand out branded movie going extras...you could show the movie on the side of a building, rent the screen etc. Everyone could receive branded blankets to sit on. Just some thoughts....
