Getting Started - Is This The Hardest Bit?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I cannot stop thinking about starting my own "marketing/sml business development" - business in rural Australia. I am sure I have plenty of ideas and a good feeling for the needs of sml business.
I am going around in circles and would like to know how I can find out where to begin.
Cheers Astrid

From the exerpeinces I had (started 1 company, worked for a couple of other startups over the years), the hardest part of any new business is actually getting new business. Even with proiducts that you think will sell themselves, it is still very difficult to get new customers.

Are you employed now? Do you have the option of earning a living with a boring but dependable job, and starting the business small, on the side?

This way, you can plow the profits back into the office equipment, software, etc. that you will need, rather than using every dime you bring in (and more) to pay personal bills.
