Strategy For Upcoming Airport Magazine

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi,

I'm trying to come up with the strategy of a new airport cost-free magazine. The main idea under the strategy is to build a successful approach towards prospective advertisers. So I've made a basic positioning that the magazine could be , on the basis of content, a "premium lifestyle" magazine, aimed at traveling adults, who are trend-conscious. The brand main benefit would be the best cost-free modern lifestyle advisor.

I'm looking for ideas with which I can get advertisers attention, so e.g. how should I structure the offer, what type of offers should I create for advertisers and what kind of approach shall I have to succeed. I would appreciate any feedback from you.
Thanks,
Michal

Here are some points which I think you could promote:

    - it is a captive audience. Those people at an airport that didn't bring reading material are going to pick it up and go through it, as they have nothing else.

    - Airport travelers are generally more affluent than the average consumer. This is another area which could be promoted to advertisers (but of course, demographic information should be dug up to support this).

    - the readers are travelers, so traver related products and service companies could be targetted.
