Marketing Implementation Structure?

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Is there a common B2B marketing structure for a service? I guess...an operational structure that ensures goals are not lost and/or missed. I would appreciate any suggestions on operational marketing structures that improve marketing management, checks & balances, best-practices, etc,.

Could you clarify what you mean by marketing structure? It is not clear to me as to what you are asking.

Very broad - best I can do is provide a broad response.

    1) Listen to the initiative from the C-level folks. From my experienc,e you will undoudtedly need to get clarification from them. Make sure you understand the goal that they want (as specific as possible).

    2) Look into whether that goal is possible. If so, start determining the tactical steps required to implement the strategy initiative.

Good to bring representaives from all the players who may be involved (sales, legal, manufacturing, etc.) in at the front and get from them what will need to be done, and what the potential pitfalls will be.

I do a little something called a marketing plan. It helps my clients and I stay focused on the tasks at hand and enables us to visualize and think about wht we are about to do.

You might want to look into them!
