You didn’t give any details about your business and your “area” or market segment. I would do the research myself. Make calls to anyone who might know something about your competitor’s marketshare – people working for competitors, vendors, consultants, publications etc. Find out the gross sales of your competitors and try to deduce how much of their sales are in your market segment. The key is to stay at it. The information is out there – be tenacious.
