Creative Ways To "hug" Top Clients

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi, All!

Need a little noggin' and knowledge.
We have a very large client in a city other than where we are HQ - need to creatively acknowledge their loyalty to our company without giving the appearance of a "bribe". 5 - 10 people are on the client "team". Professional environment.

Any suggestions re what I can send or coordinate to make them feel the love long distance?

We're in Texas, they are in St.Louis - thought about sending a real TX BBQ up to them - or a St. Louis Cardinals outing...

Thanks for your input.

    litdeb,

Having experienced first hand for a number of years how fanatical and in love St. Louis is with their Cardinals, I don't think a game outing would be a "bribe".

In St. Louis, you can't go wrong with tickets to any sporting event and the Cardinals are #1.

It would endear you to them, and this is what it sounds like what you want to do.

Save the Texas BBQ for next time.

How about placing an ad /letter in St. Louis media thanking them in a public way.

St. Louis Business Journal, plus directory of others St. Louis media

A limo to see a local team might be a nice touch...

... and/or, if you really feel that those folks and your organization are on the same "team" - could you "brand" this project, e.g. "ABC Installation Team" or "ABC Integration Team" and provide "team members" (in St. Louis and at your facilities in Texas) with some really nice golf shirts, coffee mugs, etc. with your "team" logo?
