Launching A New Make Up Line

we are about to launch a new make up line in our catalog. i am thinking of a teaser or marketing campaign on how to launch this new product line. since it is included in our catalog, i want to make an ad campaign first in our branches so the readers may not get surprised that there is already an aditional product line.

pls give me ideas on how to go about this and also the best promo strategy for this product line.

    First and foremost; what is the positioning of your make up line......what is the one thing you want women to think of when they hear of or think about your line.....that has to be clear.

    next is the target group and the particular segment of women that youwant to attract to this line

    Once you are clear on this target group and on what you want the line to "mean" to them, that will give you some leads on how to reach them....if for example you are going after women who are married with children, you might say something like : 'Make up without the guilt"....so to give you more taglines we need more information on positioning and your conceptual target. (who are you going after to buy the line and become friends with it!)

    Not everyone who gets your catalog actively comes in to your store. In fact, if they get the catalog, it might inspire them to come in.

    Don't talk about the new, exciting line of make-up that's coming. Show it, and hype the launch date ("Be the first to get it. In stores June 1!")
