Planning A 1-hour Motivational Activity

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
We are planning a one day event to discuss achievements of last year and objectives of the new year. We want to do a 1-2 hour surprise motivational session for the employees (250 persons) with the theme: from good to great. We did very well last year and we want to even do better next year. We want to make it fun, use music, activities, whatever it takes to make people get the message, have fun, it's a celebration. We need a team (s) activity(s) using music and other tools, does anybody have an idea how we can do that? Any examples we could try to make use of?

I would bring in some masseuses, foot reflexologists, yoga instructors (for breathing exercises) and have them teach your staff the art of "Calm but Motivated". I would only have the most relaxing of music. I would also arrange for some good catering. Employees love it when you pay for their lunch. If you want to be great you have to be calm while staying motivated and on track to achieving your goals.

By-the-way what kind of business is this?

I don't know what your budget it, but perhaps model it on Oprah's "Favorite Things" show. She has a fleet of people come out and give samples of food, gifts, etc. The audience goes wild (mostly because they know they'll be leaving with a lot of expensive goodies).
